I haven't tried this one yet, but ran across it on another blog. I don't know that I would use it all the time, but it's good to know that there's an option if I need brown sugar in a pinch.
Mix together 1 cup white sugar and 1to 2 tablespoons molasses. Use 1 tablespoon molasses for light brown sugar and 2 tablespoons for dark brown sugar.
