Fill a container with one bottle of fabric softener and the same bottle full of water. When drying clothes, dip the sponge in the fabric softener solution, wring out, and toss in the dryer.

I have also recently discovered Angora Fabric Softener Concentrate at our local Fleet Farm Store. It is two small plastic packets of concentrate in a small flat box - I think it was around $2 and makes a gallon of fabric softener.Newtondakhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/02954465286088065609noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9040566559349147957.post-36105441261481018812009-08-18T09:41:00.003-05:002009-08-18T09:54:06.920-05:00Canning/Preserving InformationThese are sites that have information on how to can and preserve your fruits and vegetables:

Homecanning.com

Better Homes and Gardens Canning and Preserving Food

The Ball Canning SiteNewtondakhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/02954465286088065609noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9040566559349147957.post-56675855511494053492009-08-18T09:11:00.001-05:002009-08-18T09:14:13.763-05:00Great New Shopping Option!Products delivered directly to your home with FREE SHIPPING at ALICE.COM!Newtondakhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/02954465286088065609noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9040566559349147957.post-15425363728737546672009-01-01T13:09:00.002-06:002009-01-01T13:12:52.813-06:00Is your New Year's Resolution losing weight?I have recently embarked on a new journey - losing weight without the cravings. Add the egg, mix VERY well. Add the milk & oil & vanilla extract, mix well. Fold in chocolate chips (if using them).

Put mug in the center of your microwave and cook for 3 minutes on high (1000 watts). Cake will rise over the top of the mug, but don't be alarmed, this is normal and it will go back down.

Allow to cool a few minutes and enjoy. Top with icing or chocolate syrup if desired. You can dump it out onto a plate or in a bowl if you like. In our area, chokecherries, wild grapes, buffalo berries and wild plums are free for the picking in many wooded areas. Be sure to obtain permission from the property owner before investigating or picking, and use internet sources to verify the identity of the berries you find before eating! Many of these make delicious jams, jellies and syrups!Newtondakhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/02954465286088065609noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9040566559349147957.post-90186190814922209102008-05-12T14:00:00.003-05:002008-05-12T14:02:42.848-05:00Homemade Brown SugarI haven't tried this one yet, but ran across it on another blog.
